 In four days, I'll be leaving for France.  Friends take me to dinner, the guys upstairs had a going away party.  I'll be gone for a year.  At least that's my thought at this time.  I'm prepared to be homesick, lonely, etc.  I just hope that I'm not homesick and lonely enough to come back … Continue reading If not now, never

My last week in California. An apartment emptied of everything but the airmatress, which deflates in the middle of the night, an outdoor table for my laptop and scattered papers over the floor. I'm ready to leave.
